Golden Mountain Off-Road Park is famous around the Southeast for having some of the toughest off-road trails around.







All participants (including members, drivers, passengers, and guests) must fill out a current waiver and check in at the office before entering property and trail system. Check in is required before entering the trail system on each visit.

Litter laws are strictly enforced. Anyone caught littering will be PERMANENTLY EJECTED from the Park. Place litter in an appropriate trash receptacle or 'Pack It In, Pack It Out.'

Ride only on established trails. Do not venture into the woods or onto other property not owned by the park.

All drivers AND passengers are required to wear a DOT approved safety helmet and protective gear including, but not limited to, those listed by the manufacture and the ATV Safety Institute are strongly recommended. NO EXCEPTIONS. ATVs or motorcycles are not allowed on the trails.

No alcoholic beverages or mind-altering substances which may impair a person's judgment are allowed in the trail area. All vehicles on park property are subject to search. No one is allowed to possess any dangerous or controlled substances including but not limited to firearms and explosives within the park (STRICTLY PROHIBITED).

Firearms are STRICTLY prohibited within the park. NO HUNTING IS ALLOWED anywhere in the park.

Seat belts must be worn at ALL TIMES while driving in the park (passengers included).

All operators of ORV vehicles and passengers should follow manufacturer's safe operating procedures. Please be sure that your vehicle is equipped to operate on the rough terrain in the park. All Off-road vehicles must have functioning spark arrestors and mufflers.

Off-Road Vehicles (ORVs) are to be operated only during established park hours (END AT 11PM) Please be respectful to our neighbors so we may continue to provide a fun place for everyone.

Excessive speed and reckless driving is not permitted. Please follow the posted speed limit of 5mph. No speeding or tricks or spin-outs in the parking lot and grassy areas.

Everyone rides at their own risk. Know your limitations and do not exceed the capabilities of your vehicle. The park IS NOT responsible for your recovery in the event of breakdown or immobility but will always assist if possible.

Do not remove or destroy trees, shrubs, plants or animals. We want them to remain for everyone to enjoy. Tree straps must always be used.

NO OPEN FIRES ARE ALLOWED IN THE PARK. Campsite fires must be kept inside the designated areas.

All operators of Off-Road Vehicles must have a valid driver's license. They will be checked when signing into the park. Children under 18 must be supervised at all times. ALL SUV's MUST HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE.

Be courteous of other drivers, children, and park employees on and off the trails. This is a family place! All dogs/pets must be on a leash or in a pen/crate for the protection of the animal and guests.

Those under the age of 18 must have a waiver consent signed by a parent or legal guardian in the presence of a park staff member. Parent / legal guardian must closely supervise minors.
ALL riders must follow the age restrictions set by the government for ATV's. *For engine sizes under 70cc's- age 6 and older.
*For engine sizes 70cc's to 90cc's- ages 12 and older.
*For engine sizes over 90cc's- 16 and older.

All SUVs must have a fully enclosed metal cab and / or roll bar protection, functioning safety belts, working four wheel drive systems, frame mounted (not welded) tow hooks that are appropriately rated for the vehicle's weight for recovery purposes, and must be in good and safe mechanical operating condition.

Failure to comply with the above rules, regulations and safe operating procedures can result in participants being temporarily or permanently banned from using the park or participating in any future park activity or events. No refund of any monies will be given. THE PARK IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OR INJURY TO PARK PARTICIPANTS.
Advance approval by GMP management is required for food and beverage caterers utilized by GMP.
